The fundamental purpose is to collect, store and divert water for irrigation and electricity generation to meet customer requirements. On average, the Scheme diverts 2,360 gigalitres of water west of the Great Dividing Range for irrigation management and produces 5,128 gigawatt hours of renewable energy annually.
On February 14th we visited with our friends and the staff at The CCIA Office in New South Wales. Since they were having a meeting with many of the park owners, we had a chance to see some of "the parkies" (park owners)

The following morning was the inevitable and time for us to head home. As you can see, we left with a bunch of memories that will last a lifetime or until we have a chance to do it all again.
